Dates are set for the 2015 Lake Effect Fringe Festival. Thanks to all of our supporters, we will be able to undertake the third annual festival, highlighting the work of West Michigan theatre artists and providing our regional audiences with a month of exciting live theatre.
The 2015 LEFF will take place from January 29-March 1 at the Dog Story Theater in Grand Rapids. All of the founding organizations of the festival return with theatrical offerings. The Stark Turn Players will once again present their festival of 10-minute plays, producing scripts chosen from a competition for local playwrights. The festival will also feature a gender-reversed As You Like It presented by the Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company, and a new production by GEM Theatrics. We are currently in the process of accepting applications for additional performing groups.
The Lake Effect Fringe Festival is excited to continue our mission of drawing attention to the work of local and regional artists, and providing Grand Rapids-area audiences with compelling, performer-focused productions. We again thank all those who have supported and continue to support this project. We will see you all this coming winter at the festival!
