Students at LA Scores enjoyed another successful Spring program culminating in the end of year Jamboree. This semester saw five of our eight Friday GameDays adopted by teams of local corporate volunteers through our new Adopt-a-GameDay program. Corporate teams of volunteers from Bain & Company, Wells Fargo, Starbucks, McDermott Will & Emery and JP Morgan all participated in helping set up and run this weekly event at the local park which is the highlight of the week for our students.
On the last Friday of the semester program the LA Scores Jamboree was a huge success and a fun day was had by all. The giant inflatable Foosball, Obstacle Course and Penalty Shootouts were hugely popular. We were also thrilled to have a visit from representatives of the Wales National Team Supporters organization Gol Cymru who made a donation and provided Wales flags to all our students.
