Kids for Kids: Empowering Youth with Goat Farming

 More Hooves, More Hope

Dear Friends,

Thanks to your generosity, our goat project in Uganda continues to grow and strengthen children in meaningful ways.

We are excited to share that two new goats have been born, one healthy male kid and one healthy female kid! Their arrival brings our herd to 53 goats, a milestone that represents more opportunities for families to build sustainable livelihoods.

Their first days, however, were not easy. Heavy seasonal rains swept through the area, and we were concerned that we might lose both newborns. Thanks to the quick response and dedicated care of our local team, the kids survived and are now doing well. It was a reminder that while livestock can transform lives, caring for them also requires constant vigilance and commitment.

Every new birth moves us one step closer to our goal of helping more families. As the herd continues to grow, goats can be passed on to additional households, creating a ripple effect of hope, nutrition, and economic opportunity throughout the community.
