As the cooler weather approaches, we are busy preparing the green house for the winter. We are working on the electrical wiring, irrigation system, and winter gardening.
Our Prudential volunteers recently planted: cabbage, cauliflower, kale, and broccoli in the greenhouse. Once they sprout, we will harvest the plants so that Kids Camp can use the produce in the meals they prepare for the children. We have big garden plans for next year and we will keep you posted on the results.
Many thanks for your ongoing support!
