2012 has been a very exciting year for Kick4Life to date. Some of the highlights of the year so far have included:

Orphan and vulnerable Children Program

24 youth have been supported back into education through our Orphans & Vulnerable Children Initiative.

Our ReCYCLE social enterprise program, where partipants collect recyclable goods now has 51 subscribers. The youth involved with the program use bicycles and trailers to collect the goods in Maseru with all profits from the scheme put back into funding their school fees. It is Lesotho's first recycling scheme.

HIV Prevention Program

Over 3500 have graduated through our HIV prevention education curriculum

A total of 44,214 Red Cards have now been distributed. Each Red Card details certain common behaviours that may put a person at risk of HIV. As part of the Red Card campaign there has been a total of 162 drama performances with a combined total of over 47,000 audience members.

Other new highlights

Phase 2 of the Lesotho Football for Hope Center is currently under construction although we still need more funds to complete! Please let us know if you or someone you know can support us with this!!

We have extended our partnerships with USAID, UNICEF and the Lesotho Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, amongst others.
