Thanks to your support, Bergsig Support Centre uses their oven in their efforts to make a meaningful impact in their community.
In the Northern Cape, many community members rely on government grants that often fall short of addressing their basic needs. However, your contribution has enabled them to bridge this gap by using the micro-baking oven to generate income and sustain their organization.
With the income generated from baking pizzas and bread, they have initiated several impactful programs. They provide food parcels and essentials to those in need, especially during times when government grants are delayed. Your support has allowed them to be a lifeline for their community, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
Their baking venture has proven successful, and they are proud to share their achievements with you. Our target of selling 100 pizzas per month, with 25 pizzas per week, has been met consistently. Additionally, they bake 20 breads every Monday and Wednesday, with half of them sold for income and the other half provided to their ART (Antiretroviral Therapy) clients.
“These achievements would not have been possible without compassionate individuals like you who believe in our cause. Your support is truly making a difference in the lives of those we serve. On behalf of the entire community and our organization, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and generosity”, says the Project Leader, of Bergsig Support Centre.
