School is out for the long holiday in Kenya. The children enjoy a rest from their studies even though they continue to read a bit each day to not fall behind.
This year Voyot took his class 8 examination. He has been number one in his class for several years results will not be out until next year but we hope for top marks so he can get a scholarship to one of the national schools in Kenya.
Otieno hit his B+ goal for this year. 2017 is his last year of high school and he is aiming for an A- to obtain a full college scholarship!
Many of the other children were in the top ten of their class!!
New students are seeking funding every day. There is a long waiting list for those who would otherwise not be able to attend school or attend for only 1 or two terms.
Expanding Opportunities continues to assist as many as funding will allow with a book, uniform, exam fees, boarding fees, or full sponsorship depending upon academic achievement and need.
Your donation makes an enormous difference. If we want to affect and entire nation and thereby the world we do it through education one at a time.
