In the schools (targeted through Meru North Disability Community centre) - Athi special school and Irindiro special school, 12 teachers and 130 parents have been trained on conducting playgroup therapy activities for the children. This has considerably reduced the occurrence of contractures and need for repeat surgeries.
16 Children with Disabilities were identified, assessed and placed in different appropriate schools therefore enabling them access education.
24 teachers, administrators and health workers have been trained on child rights and child protection.
In November 2019, 21 Children successfully underwent corrective surgeries successfully.
Pupils at Irindiro received books for their library.
