Back to school second semester 2020 - COVID

By Kiara Olivas | Development Coordinator BPP Nicaragua

With your help we raised $ 1,081 and we are grateful for the support of all donors.

Thanks to you, we have reopened the doors of our school in San Juan del Sur to start classes for the second semester at BPP. BPP staff and teachers have created a coronavirus prevention plan to provide safety for our students.

In our school in Escamequita we have continued with classes from home with the visit of the teachers once a week, although the heavy rains have been a great challenge in this rural community, we are very proud of our students and teachers in Escamequita for their effort and dedication. Despite the bad weather, they have persevered, traveling long distances across rivers to reach our students' homes.

We have yet to raise $ 3,919 to continue our staff and teachers' plans to continue offering educational opportunities to our students and we hope that our fundraising efforts will help us reach that goal.
