Dear Global Giving Supporters,
We thank our GlobalGiving supporters for the $4,350 raised since we created this GlobalGiving project in 2013. We are closing out our Keep Los Angeles Youth Employed and In School project on the GlobalGiving platform.
Your generous donations for the project Keep Los Angeles Youth Employed and In School provided much needed support services to keep youth employed and in school. Recently, donations were used for transportation assistance and college preparation for LA Conservation corpsmembers in the Young Adult Corps program. The LA Corps collaborates with the Los Angeles Education Corps, a charter school which educates corpsmembers and is sponsored by the INYO County School District. Corpsmembers attend school to attain credits towards their High School diploma and rotate from school to work every three months until graduation. Each corpsmember has a unique journey in reaching their education goals. Your donation helped to remove barriers to success.
Thanks to your generous support, the LA Corps' Corpsmember Development team successfully provided bus passes, school supplies, vocational training, and workforce development services for young adults working on their education goals. Continue to support the LA Conservation Corps! Like us on LA Conservation Corps Facebook
Best Regards,
