For many girls in Benue State, Nigeria, conflict and displacement have taken away more than their homes—they have taken away their sense of safety, stability, and opportunity. As families struggle to recover from violence and economic hardship, girls are often the first to sacrifice their education. Many are left without safe spaces to learn, build friendships, or develop the confidence they need to thrive, making them more vulnerable to exploitation, early marriage, and lifelong poverty.
Through GoGreen's Keep Girls in School Through Sports project, we are changing that reality. We create safe, inclusive environments where girls can play, learn, and grow together. By combining sports with academic support, life-skills education, mentoring, and leadership development, we help girls rebuild their confidence, stay engaged in school, and develop the resilience to overcome life's challenges.
Your generosity makes these safe spaces possible. Every donation helps provide sports equipment, educational materials, trained mentors, and school-based activities that give girls hope and a sense of belonging.
Together, we can ensure that every girl has a safe place to grow, discover her potential, and build a brighter future. Give today and help girls in Benue State find safety, strength, confidence, and the opportunity to succeed.
