Every day, countless girls in Benue State, Nigeria, face obstacles that stand between them and the education they deserve. Poverty, conflict, displacement, and harmful cultural practices continue to force many girls out of school, limiting their opportunities and exposing them to early marriage, child labour, exploitation, and lifelong economic hardship. When a girl loses access to education, she loses far more than a classroom—she loses the confidence, knowledge, and opportunities that can transform her future.
But together, we can change this reality.
Through GoGreen's Keep Girls in School Through Sports project, we are using the power of sports to break down these barriers and create new pathways for success. Our structured sports programmes encourage girls to remain in school while building confidence, leadership, teamwork, and resilience. Combined with academic mentoring, life-skills education, and positive role models, these activities empower girls to dream bigger and believe in their ability to overcome adversity.
Your support can make this transformation possible. Every donation helps provide sports equipment, educational materials, mentoring sessions, and safe learning opportunities that keep girls engaged in school and focused on their futures.
When we invest in girls, we strengthen families, communities, and future generations. Together, we can replace barriers with opportunities and fear with hope. Please stand with us today. Your generous gift will help build up girls with the confidence, education, and support they need to overcome every barrier and become the leaders of tomorrow.
