Change a Girl's Life Through Microentrepreneurship

For many women in Cameroon, the dream of owning a small business is often held back by one major challenge: lack of startup capital.

They have the determination to work, the willingness to learn, and the desire to support their families, but without the financial resources to purchase their first stock of goods, getting started can be difficult.

Through donations received via GlobalGiving, Reach Out Cameroon is preparing to provide five women in the Southwest Region of Cameroon with startup grants of 50,000 FCFA each to begin their petty-trading businesses.

Our goal is simple: to turn their business dreams into opportunities for income generation, financial independence, and a better future.

Your Donations Are Making a Difference

With a total grant budget of 250,000 FCFA, this initiative will give each woman an opportunity to purchase initial stock and begin selling everyday goods.

Although 50,000 FCFA may seem like a small amount, it can represent a significant first step for a woman who has the determination to build a business but lacks the means to begin.

These grants are not just financial assistance. They represent hope, opportunity, and a chance for five women to take greater control of their economic futures

Beyond the Financial Support

We believe that empowering women economically can benefit entire families and communities.

As these women establish their businesses, they will have an opportunity to generate income, contribute to household expenses, and work toward building more sustainable livelihoods.

Reach Out Cameroon will follow up with the beneficiaries to monitor their progress, understand the challenges they encounter, and document how the grants contribute to their business development.
