Every empowered young woman was once a girl who needed someone to believe in her potential. For many girls living in poverty, access to education is threatened by challenges that include inadequate menstrual hygiene resources and limited reproductive health support.
Thanks to your generosity, that journey from vulnerability to empowerment is becoming possible.
During this reporting period, girls received menstrual hygiene supplies, reproductive health education, and mentorship support designed to help them remain in school and develop confidence in their abilities. These interventions are helping girls overcome barriers and pursue their dreams with determination.
Teachers report encouraging improvements in attendance, academic engagement, and leadership among beneficiaries. Many girls are taking greater responsibility for their education and becoming role models for their peers.
One participant recently shared her ambition to become a community health worker so she can help other young girls overcome challenges similar to those she has faced.
