Keep 200 Ugandan Girls in School

Behind every successful girl is a network of support that helps her overcome obstacles and pursue her goals. For many girls in rural communities, access to menstrual hygiene products and reproductive health information remains a critical need.

This quarter, our project continued working to ensure that vulnerable girls receive the resources and education necessary to remain in school. Through the distribution of menstrual hygiene supplies and health education sessions, girls gained practical tools that support both their well-being and academic success.

The reduction in adolescent-focused services has increased pressure on schools and local organizations to provide support. In response, our team expanded mentorship opportunities and awareness activities that encourage positive decision-making and self-confidence.

Girls participating in the program reported feeling more comfortable attending school during menstruation and more informed about reproductive health issues. Teachers observed improved attendance and stronger classroom participation among beneficiaries.

The benefits of these interventions extend far beyond education. By helping girls stay in school, we are reducing vulnerability to early pregnancy, child marriage, and future economic hardship. Each girl supported today represents a future leader, entrepreneur, teacher, or community advocate.
