For many girls in rural Uganda, the difference between staying in school and dropping out can be as simple as access to menstrual hygiene supplies and supportive guidance. Poverty continues to prevent families from meeting these basic needs, leaving girls vulnerable to absenteeism, poor academic performance, and lost opportunities.
Thanks to your compassionate support, we are helping girls overcome these challenges and remain on the path toward a brighter future. During this reporting period, vulnerable girls received menstrual hygiene kits, reproductive health education, and mentorship designed to strengthen their confidence and resilience.
The situation has become increasingly difficult as funding cuts have reduced adolescent outreach and youth-friendly services in many communities. As a result, girls often have fewer places to turn for reliable information and support. Your generosity is helping bridge this gap and ensuring that no girl is left behind.
Teachers report that girls participating in the project are attending school more consistently and engaging more actively in classroom activities. Many are achieving improved academic results and setting ambitious goals for their futures.
Every girl who remains in school today is more likely to become financially independent tomorrow. Thank you for helping transform barriers into opportunities and uncertainty into hope. Your support is making a lasting difference in the lives of girls who are determined to succeed despite the challenges they face.
