Every girl deserves the opportunity to complete her education and pursue her dreams. Yet for many girls in rural Uganda, poverty and limited access to menstrual hygiene products continue to create barriers that threaten their future. Missing school for several days each month may seem temporary, but over time it can lead to poor academic performance, reduced confidence, and an increased likelihood of dropping out.
Thanks to your generous support, we are helping vulnerable girls overcome these challenges. During this reporting period, girls received menstrual hygiene kits, reproductive health education, and mentorship that enabled them to remain in school and focus on their studies.
The recent reduction in adolescent outreach services has left many communities with fewer resources to support young people. As a result, donor-funded programs like ours have become more important than ever. Your contribution is helping ensure that girls continue receiving the guidance and practical assistance they need to thrive.
Teachers report improved attendance and stronger classroom participation among beneficiaries. Parents have also shared encouraging stories of daughters who are becoming more confident, motivated, and determined to achieve their goals.
The impact extends beyond individual girls. Educated girls become empowered women who strengthen families, improve community well-being, and contribute to local economic growth.
Thank you for investing in girls whose success will create ripple effects for generations. Your support is helping build healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.
