PROTECTING GIRLS DURING A TIME OF GROWING NEED

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

The challenges facing adolescent girls have intensified as support for youth-focused services continues to decline. Many schools and communities now have fewer resources available to address menstrual health needs and provide reproductive health education.

Despite these challenges, your support has enabled us to continue reaching vulnerable girls with life-changing assistance. During this reporting period, girls received menstrual hygiene kits, educational workshops, and mentorship support that helped them remain healthy, confident, and engaged in school.

For many beneficiaries, these services provide one of the few sources of accurate health information and personal guidance available to them. The project is helping girls make informed decisions, avoid preventable risks, and stay focused on their education.

Teachers and parents have reported encouraging results, including improved attendance, greater self-confidence, and stronger academic commitment among participating girls. These positive changes demonstrate the importance of investing in girls during critical stages of development.

Your generosity is helping protect girls from barriers that could otherwise derail their futures. Every hygiene kit, every mentorship session, and every educational workshop is contributing to a safer and brighter future.

Thank you for helping us respond to growing needs with compassion and action. Together, we are ensuring that vulnerable girls are not left behind.
