CREATING SAFE PATHWAYS TO EDUCATION AND SUCCESS

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Behind every educated girl is a story of resilience. Many girls in rural communities walk long distances to school, help support their families, and face challenges that would discourage even the strongest adults. Yet one of the most preventable barriers they face is the lack of menstrual hygiene supplies and reproductive health information.

With your support, we are helping remove these barriers and create safer pathways to education and success.

During this reporting period, we distributed essential menstrual hygiene kits and facilitated educational sessions that equipped girls with knowledge about reproductive health, personal hygiene, and self-confidence. These activities are helping girls stay in school and make informed decisions about their futures.

Funding cuts affecting youth services have reduced access to critical support systems for many adolescents. As a result, community-based initiatives are becoming increasingly important in protecting girls and ensuring they remain engaged in education.

Teachers have reported fewer absences among supported students and greater participation in school activities. Girls are expressing increased confidence and stronger determination to complete their education.

Your support is helping vulnerable girls overcome barriers that once seemed impossible. By investing in their health and education today, you are helping create future teachers, nurses, entrepreneurs, and leaders who will contribute positively to their communities.

Thank you for making these opportunities possible.
