Keep 200 Ugandan Girls in School

For many girls living in poverty, menstruation is not simply a health issue—it is an educational crisis. Without access to sanitary products, countless girls are forced to miss school regularly, putting their futures at risk. Combined with limited reproductive health education, these challenges increase vulnerability to teenage pregnancy, school dropout, and long-term poverty.

Because of your support, girls are receiving far more than menstrual hygiene kits. They are receiving hope, confidence, and the opportunity to remain in school.

This quarter, our project continued distributing hygiene supplies while providing reproductive health education and mentorship. Girls learned about personal health, self-esteem, and decision-making skills that can help them navigate adolescence safely and successfully.

The reduction in youth-focused services has made this support even more important. Many girls now depend on community-based programs like ours for guidance and encouragement.

One young beneficiary shared that she no longer worries about missing school during her menstrual cycle. Instead, she is focusing on her studies and working toward her dream of becoming a doctor.
