Project Report: Kate's Haven - A Refuge for Stray Cats (67716)

Summary of Activities
Kate’s Haven continues to provide a safe and loving environment for stray and abandoned cats. Over the past few months, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed numerous cats that were previously struggling to survive on the streets. Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to provide veterinary care, proper nutrition, and socialization to prepare these cats for adoption into forever homes.

Impact Story
One heartwarming case is that of a young tabby cat found malnourished and suffering from an infection. After receiving medical attention, proper nutrition, and lots of love, she has made a full recovery and has recently found a loving home. Her transformation is a testament to the impact of our work and the generosity of our supporters.

Progress and Achievements

  • Rescue Efforts: 25 cats have been rescued and placed in safe foster homes, receiving medical attention and rehabilitation.

  • Adoptions: 15 cats have been successfully adopted into loving families.

  • Veterinary Care: All rescues have been vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and treated for any health conditions.

  • Community Engagement: We held an awareness session educating the community on responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering to control the stray cat population.

Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, we aim to expand our facilities to accommodate more rescues and enhance our adoption outreach programs. Additionally, we will be participating in GlobalGiving’s upcoming matching campaign to ensure the sustainability of our mission.

Thank you for being part of Kate’s Haven and for helping us give stray cats a second chance at life. Your continued support is making a difference!
