Junior Achievement of Northern New England (JANNE) is deeply grateful to all our donors to the GlobalGiving Campaign.
The JANNE GlobalGiving project was to deliver entrepreneurship programs to students in kindergarten-12 grades. We are pleased to report that, in the 2013-2014 academic year, JANNE has already reached 40,000 students through more than 1,700 volunteers.
The JA experience can be equally as rewarding for our volunteers as it can be for the students we serve. Through its proven learning model that unites successful volunteers from the business community with students, Junior Achievement programs enhance current school curricula by teaching financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship to students in grades K-12. This proven approach opens doors for mutually-benefitting mentoring and positive relationships that empower students and strengthen schools and communities.
Your support allows us to continue to offer our unique and effective programming at no cost to the students, schools and communities we serve. Thank you for your support.
Please take a moment to read this testimonial from a JA student.
“My experience at JA was amazing! I was able to work with many people, but the mentors were the best. The mentors were very supportive and they tried their best to help us achieve our goals while they guided us.”
