Excitement is building up as we continue to advance in the Learning Lab! Here are a few updates:
Finishing up Construction Work!
It’s been a busy couple of months for construction, but land leveling, pipeline installation, 2 containers in place, and the perimeter wall are finished! The windows are also being installed, and the carpentry work is being done in a local shop.
We are working on quotes for the equipping of the lab, including tables, chairs, interesting books, projectors, lab materials, legos, and much more!
Working on Program and looking for Partnerships
This lab will be a learning and discovery place for kids 7-12 in the mornings and 13-18 in the afternoon. The team is working on benchmarking already existing STEM programs and looking into some partnerships with local schools and Foundations like Lego Education, Computer Aid, Microsoft, and others to make the most out of this space.
