During the last quarter, our efforts focused entirely on qrehabilitating and educating Covid Orphans. These are the children who lost both parents to Covid. They have been admitted to schools and all their expenses have taken care of. Without our intervention, these students faced the high risk of being trafficked. The Covid-19 Pandemic has greatly increased the number of children exposed to the risk of being trafficked. Details of this and other initiatives are in the attached Prajwala Annual Report.
Dry provisions such as rice, wheat, lentils and wheat flour were packaged and distributed to children of former sex workers in Ghataprabha in Belgaum district.
