Yesterday, candidate for Chicago Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, decided to hold a press conference at Iron Street Urban Farm as an opportunity to discuss his strategy about solving the City's growing problem with "food deserts."
Iron Street Urban Farm was highlighted as one of the innovative ways to improve fresh food access to the over 600,000 Chicago residents that lack it.
