Finally! Our first hoop green house has been built at Iron Street Urban Farm!
Our youth and staff spent over 6 hours over two days constructing this hoop house that will be able to grow spinach and other winter green in even the coldest of months. Check out the pictures of all their hard work!
Keep on speading the word about Iron Street Urban Farm. With your help we will be able to build even more growing systems to provide fresh and healthy produce to Chicago communities that need it most...all year round!
