After debuting on World AIDS Day 2011 in Johannesburg, a dozen festival appearances around the world and nine awards, including Gold for the United Nations Public Information award at the New York Film Festival, Discovery Channel Global Education Partnership’s feature film Inside Story is celebrating a new milestone – its world broadcast premiere.
On December 8, 2012, Inside Story had its world broadcast premiere on SABC1 in South Africa. Subsequently, the film has welcomed audiences across theaters in Nigeria, audiences in Uganda, Cameroon, Madagascar and Mozambique. The film’s rollout will continue throughout 2013 through broadcasters and digital channels – on its way to reach millions across sub-Saharan African and beyond.
