Throughout the fundraising campaign, the POFHAD Board of Directors began by organizing meetings to plan training activities related to the project.
First of all, we first defined the eligibility conditions for beneficiaries, who are single mothers between the ages of 15 and 18 with at least one child, then launched a call for expressions of interest in order to recruit trainers. .
More than thirty girls were registered, after analyzing the files, twenty girls met the criteria and four trainers were selected, including two in sculpture, one in assembly, manufacture and repair of solar panels and one in awareness of legal identity and sexual health.
After setting up the space, the training began at the beginning of November, thanks to the precious support of our donors whom we will never cease to thank.
The amount collected allowed us to incur the following expenses:
1---Training materials (gloves, hammers, pencils, notebooks): $3000.00 USD
2--- Tailoring of jersey $ 1000.00 USD
3---Administrative secretary $350.00 USD
4---Bank charges $16.00 USD
TOTAL------------------------------------------------- -------------: $4366.00 USD
This amount will not allow us to complete the training which is due to end next October. Anyway, it allowed us to take action and we intend to continue. Once again, we want to thank our donors who made this action possible and a special thank you to globalgiving for this opportunity. We hope to achieve our objective which is to graduate this promotion of young mothers in order to make them useful to themselves and useful to society!
