2024 is approaching and our conservation projects continue to escalate!
We are almost at the end of 2023 with a day of planting almost 6,000 trees in 4 communities in southern Costa Rica.
We have received these trees thanks to a generous donation from a local company.
The trees have been distributed to various indigenous and peasant community groups and we have begun planting them, taking advantage of the last months of rain in Costa Rica.
We hope that more supports like this will happen in 2024.
In addition to this fantastic news, the Forest to Born Water project continues to grow.
We will begin the work as part of the small donations program to the 5 large forests of Mesoamerica, with which we will receive support to plant more trees, develop a restoration guide, work together with the communities in local nurseries and train ourselves.
Thanks to the support of our GlobalGiving donors, our team has funding to travel to the site and develop comprehensive work alongside people.
This is support that is key to us, as it allows us to increase the impact on the conservation of ecosystems in Costa Rica.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
