Though the high risk period of Covid-19 pandemic apparently seems to be over yet there is a rising trend of increase in nos. of affected people as well as numbers of fatality.
As a regular part we have now made ‘Awareness on Covid -19’ and message spread of the related precautions and Dos & Don’ts as an essential component in all our programmes and projects. All our teams are now consistently doing so.
This has become a regular routine at our educational institutions that we run for marginalized children at various remote rural areas of Sundarbans and suburban areas close to Kolkata city for making the pupils habituated with Dos & Don’ts related to Covid-19 contamination and spread. Also in all our programme gatherings and even in small meetings we are still following the Covid -19 protocols.
We are maintaining the protocols in our Health Programmes too- in the Awareness sessions and also during the patients are being treated as well as while visiting houses.
We are deeply indebted to the National & International Charities who came forward for supporting our cause. But we need more support to continue supporting the cause with the fast changing scenario and continued increase of positive cases.
Also we are vigilant on the situation and continue testing for early detection at the exclusive unit that has been created for Covid -19 at our Rural Health & Training Centre – Swarnalata Sabuj Seva Sadan in Nandakumarpur village of Mathurapur II Block in the Sundarbans delta within South 24 Parganas district.
WE APPEAL TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS AND LIKE MINDED PEOPLE TO PLEASE JOIN OUR HANDS IN THIS VERY DIFFICULT ENDEAVOUR. PLEASE SUPPORT US TO STAND BY THE MARGINALISED PEOPLE GETTING IMPACTED BY THIS DEADLY DISEASE ACROSS VILLAGES OF SUNDERBANS
