By Roberta Ward Smiley | President and Founder, LRFF
This project was posted this past Monday, March 8th after the monthly meeting of the La Reserva Forest Foundation. Roy Whaley attended our meeting that was held at the Casa del Agua, thanks to Frank Goodell. Frank has been restoring all of the wood at the at the Casa while providing a place for local residents to exchange books and enjoy the different coffee drinks offered. Our friend at Giant Studios, Paul Hynek, Director of Business Affairs, was the first to “kick start” this project. Within in 20 minutes of my announcing the posting of this project Paul let me know that he was on the bus. Thank you Paul for your generous support of LRFF. Roy is only in Costa Rica until the middle of June when he will return to Wyoming for the summer. He is anxious to see the corridor planted before he leaves and LRFF is as well. . Here is our opportunity to get this project funded so that we can plant it at the beginning of the rainy season for Roy and mary. COME ON EVERYBODY, LET’S GET PLANTING!!
