Impulse Demoday Realization
We are in the 4th edition of the Impulso Acceleration Program, which aims to strengthen cultural initiatives in the state of Rio de Janeiro with potential for social impact. It is a free acceleration program, with mentoring and training for 10 NGOs, groups and collectives in the cultural and social business area, so that they can develop, structure and improve their management processes and last August/22 we held the Demoday. A day of demonstration of the projects that are still being developed with the organizations participating in the acceleration program, where managers have the opportunity to validate their ideas and strategic planning with a team of evaluated people who give tips, guidelines and suggestions so that the project has more relevance and impact.
And have you ever imagined if in your childhood the characters and heroes of books and movies and dolls were all very different from you? It would be very difficult to imagine yourself occupying places in the world, wouldn't it? The black population feels this absence of references everywhere. With this in mind, the organization Clubinho Preto, one of the organizations accelerated by the Impulso Program, created a Signature Club that offers educational content and anti-racist culture for children, sending a box full of love and blackness. In addition, they promote events and consultancy on racial issues for schools and companies.
Glad Clubinho Preto works for a more diverse world, more together and without racism, impacting so many children and their families.
Co.Impacto Program Launch
We are launching one more edition of the Co.Impacto Social Acceleration Program for NGOs, collectives or social businesses in Rio de Janeiro. Seven initiatives will be selected so that their impact managers can receive mentoring and remote training for 8 months in the areas of strategic management, business and innovation. At the end of the Program, managers will present themselves to an investment bank that will select one or more organizations to receive a financial incentive. The total resources available to be divided among the selected organizations is R$ 140 thousand. We believe that this financial incentive, together with all the training content shared with social managers, can greatly contribute to expanding the socio-environmental impact.
