Increasing social projects impact in communities

Launch of new acceleration programs:

The climate is changing, the planet is giving more and more frequent alerts that we need to rethink our relationship with nature. All over the world, the scientific community confirms this warning with quite frightening data. Here in Brazil, we have an abundant nature throughout the country, but it has been suffering enormous threats. And we know that the impacts of environmental changes strongly affect the most vulnerable population that cannot protect themselves from floods, periods of intense drought and scarcity, and many other natural disasters.

Is that you? How many organizations do you know near your location that act directly against the effects of changes in nature?

With the aim of supporting these organizations, we launched a new acceleration program: “Impactô Verde”

We are looking for new managers of NGOs and Social Businesses who work to reduce social inequalities, but now with something new! We are going to open up a new area, seeking 13 initiatives with actions for the preservation and restoration of mountain ecosystems and reduction of climate change to follow for 9 months and help them to further expand their ability to transform the socio-environmental scenario of our planet.

In addition to “Impactô Verde”, we also launched two other acceleration programs. The "Impactô – SOCIAL" and the "Impulso".

In all, there will be 23 more organizations, from six different states, which will undergo training, with nine months of individual meetings and training to deepen knowledge about strategic management, business and innovation in the social area.

We believe that knowledge is a bridge to the realization of dreams and important achievements. The social area needs real managers willing to train themselves more and more, increase the quality and viability of their work. We are together in this dream, helping them to make them real achievements of social change.

“Impactô Mulheres” Closure:

Throughout our experience and contact with social organizations, we have always noticed the presence and strength of women in social management. According to our data, about 53% of the leaders who have gone through our training are women.

They make all the difference in their territories and for that reason, we dedicate an exclusive acceleration program to them, accompanying them for 9 months, with a lot of exchange of knowledge and a desire to transform social reality. The result could not have been different: A success!

10 organizations led by the female force participated in investment banking and were able to present the projects developed during the program's mentoring meetings.

In all, the organizations were awarded the amount of R$ 90 thousand so that they can expand even more impact in the south, northeast, southeast and central-west regions of Brazil.

One of these amazing organizations is Phototherapy.

The ease of recording images has become greater with today's digital cameras on cell phones. We take a lot of photos and videos, but we don't always give due value to the moment or the scene that is happening.

Phototherapy staff realized the power of photography when they gathered to take pictures, which had a therapeutic effect on the group. In order to expand the reach of this effect in the city of Governador Valadares, in the interior of Brazil, and to strengthen the cultural scene in the region, they decided to expand their operations.

They found the mission to “Transform the local cultural scene, including excluded people, by stimulating the artistic eye and entrepreneurship in the creative economy”.

Phototherapy has already transformed the focus of many people and they increasingly want to take the lens of good around!
