Dear friends, we start 2022 with all the excitement and we want to tell you what we have already achieved with your support.
Launch of Artificial Intelligence:
We had the pleasure and great challenge of launching the first artificial intelligence platform to exponentially serve everyone who works with social impact!
Through the Guia, it is possible to ask questions about management, business, projects, technology and marketing. Guia is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to clarify the questions of those on the front lines of social businesses and organizations.
Our social impact digital coordinator, Kiara, the Artificial Intelligence behind Guia, is always on and ready to answer questions about the social sector, but if she doesn't know the best answer to the question, our human team will be on hand and to answer!
We want the platform to be collaborative, allowing other organizations to contribute their expertise to feed the Guia knowledge base. We believe in the strength of collaborative work and we want to bring information and impact to more and more people and places.

Co.Impacto closure:
After 8 months of mentoring and support in the organization's management, 7 accelerated initiatives participated in the investment banking scheduled for the end of the impact managers development program. Organizations had the opportunity to receive a total investment of 140 thousand Brazilian Reais to improve the development of their projects and bring even more impact to their beneficiaries.
Among the organizations that presented themselves, we can highlight the social business Água Camelo, which is a startup that combines innovation and design to create solutions that fight social inequality and promote access to treated water for people in situations of vulnerability.
The Camelo Kit consists of a backpack that holds up to 15L of unsafe water at a time, a portable filter attached to it that eliminates up to 99.99% of all bacteria, protozoa and solid particles floating in the water, a wall support to hang the backpack at home and a product use manual for the final beneficiary.
To date, the initiative has impacted more than 4,000 people directly with the distribution of 610 Camelo kits, in nine Brazilian states, and with the investment received through Co.Impacto's investment bank, the organization intends to expand its operations to villages underserved indigenous peoples in the northern region of the country.
Vamos.Rio investment bank:
20 NGOs, impact businesses and cultural groups that generate an impact on the creative economy of the state of Rio de Janeiro were selected for the Vamos.Rio acceleration program. It was 9 months of mentoring with the Ekloos Institute team in the areas of strategic management, business and innovation, in addition to 6 training courses with specialists open to managers selected in the program and other managers in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
After structuring their projects during mentoring and training, managers were able to present their initiatives to an investment bank, with the opportunity to receive a financial benefit of up to 540 thousand Brazilian Reais to expand the social impact of their initiatives.
To give you an example of how the initiatives work to generate impact, we are going to tell you about Mantiquira Mercado Local. Mantiquira is a social impact business based in Rio de Janeiro, whose focus is the sale of organic and artisanal products from small local producers, close to their consumers.
The Mantiquira virtual market makes it possible for local producers to better sell their products and for consumers to be able to find quality products with greater ease and confidence. In addition to facilitating sales, Mantiquira is also a training hub for producers and entrepreneurs
So far, they have impacted 20 family farms and around 70 entrepreneurs and have 150 registered customers.
Be around and see what's next.
