We continue our activities in full energy and everything is only possible with your contribution.

Thank you!

We can not fail to tell you about the continued delivery of food baskets to the needy population of Rio de Janeiro. The effects of the Covid pandemic19 are still very devastating, so the Instituto Ekloos, in partnership with the ‘União Rio’ Movement, needed to extend the delivery of basic food baskets to unassisted families that we started in March this year. So far, we have reached the mark of 3,880 tons of food distributed; we supported 237 favelas in Rio de Janeiro, reaching an incredible number of 293,988 families. This represents almost 59 million meals provided for the most vulnerable and only reinforces the power of the union and the value of each donation received.

We were able to complete our acceleration and mentoring programs with managers and organizations with a socio-environmental impact, giving these agents the opportunity to enhance their actions and expand their impacts. In all, 37 organizations and their managers were trained in 3 different programs and we still have 16 organizations from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo that are receiving guidance on social management in the Special Program - Covid 19 that aims to identify and promote actions that minimize the effects of the pandemic. We can highlight in this program, the ‘Instituto Catalisador’ that works with education so that children and young people learn in a transformative way. In synergy with the Maker Movement and inspired by the principles of Creative Learning, they take proposals that mix conventional materials and new technologies to public schools and other points of education and culture in the city of São Paulo. During the pandemic, the ‘Instituto Catalisador’ managed to maintain its activities with the children, and sent maker kits to their home, after all impact and creativity can never stop!

Thinking of bringing social impact to more places in Brazil, the Ekloos Institute launched the 'Caravana Energia que Transforma' with the objective of bringing training to more than 140 socio-cultural producers in Rio Grande do Norte, in the northeast region of the country, who it is an unassisted region in Brazil, with the majority of its black population, which in addition to suffering from regional prejudices, does not have access to the same offer of culture and social welfare as the main capitals of the country. In total there were three online meetings with content on the creation of innovative socio-cultural projects and fundraising for socio-cultural projects. We believe that our initiatives help producers and socio-cultural managers to structure their projects in a more assertive and complete way, improving the quality and breadth of their actions, impacting the region's population more and more.

And the Festival Up! reached the mark of more than 1.5 million views of the performances of more than 2 thousand artists from all regions of Brazil and, as a way to expand support to artists, almost 60 of them received training in career development by the music label ONErpm. Not only that: We launched a campaign where the views of the performances of Festival Up! made it possible to donate more than 1250 basic food baskets to artists and people who work in the backstage of the cultural sector in Rio de Janeiro and who were left destitute due to social isolation. These baskets impacted not only the professionals, but their families as well, feeding more than 5,000 people! And to celebrate so many achievements, some artists performed the iconic Aquarela do Brasil music. Press play and get involved with us.
