Girls Game Lab - for young girls
For young girls, from the age of 12 to 16, we organized event called Girls Game Lab – a series of workshops, where girls can learn to code their own interactive JavaScript games. During 13 workshops girls acquire new skills in animation, interactive graphics, games, etc. During "Girls Game Labs" girls discover world of programming and skills that programmers use daily.
Coding Clubs - for teenage girls
We strongly discussed about new possibilities for teenager girls (mostly high school students) to provide them contact with creative computer science, because we know, personal experience is the best teacher and great motivator. Our answer for this opportunity is our new project called Coding Clubs. From September we provide to girls intensive IT education with different objectives (changing themes and subjects each month) in different cities at the same time in our country.
Frida Talks Tech in Bratislava and Košice - for women
Through Frida Talks Tech event, women from non-IT meets women (and men) from IT, we are building women IT community where women can find not only answers, but also their mentors and can cooperate. Evens are placed in Bratislava and Košice, where we want to build this communities - in the west and east of the country. They are present inspirational stories and news from the world of technology at the event. Networking is one of the main goals of the event..
