As the year came to a close for GlobeMed at Northwestern, we looked back on a very successful year of fundraising, group activities, and thought-provoking debates. We are happy to report that we raised over $19,000, almost doubling the amount we raised last year and substantially increasing our ability to help the Malnutrition Program at the H.O.P.E Center. From our final chapter meeting to our end of the year barbecue, we reminisced over the success of the 5K/Fun Run fundraiser and World Day of Social Justice activities and we are now looking ahead to the GROW trip with the H.O.P.E Center this summer. It will be rewarding to see how our funds help the community firsthand, and we hope to create a documentary to share these moments with all of you who helped make this programs possible. Thanks for your support throughout the year, and we hope that you will continue to help the members of the Ho community over this summer and next school year!
