Dear friend of MAAWS,
Half the year is already over! Where has time gone? The MAAWS Health Complex has been up to great work in January through May, we have had 1231 patient visits to our facility.
70% of our patients have come back for at least one follow up visit in 2014.
The most common condiitions treated have been:
o Acute respiratory infections (pneumonia, flu)
o Common viral infections (cold, fever)
o Diabetes
o Hypertension
o Asthma
o Pre and Ante-Natal Care
We also have some other great news! We are humbled to be the recipient of the 2015 Human Rights Peace Award awarded by the the United Movement Human Rights, a human rights organization in Bangladesh. You can read more about it on our new blog. We'll be posting more updates about our work on there.
None of this would be possible without your support. Your geneorsity allows us provide health care to people that need it the most.
We desperately need a lot of support for this project to purchase medications, supplies and much needed diagnostic equipment. Please check out the project page and donate at http://bit.ly/gghealthcomplex.
You can do more than just donating. To learn about more ways you can help, feel free to contact me at juhi.mawla@maaws.org.
Thank you again for all you have done to help this cause.
With gratitude,
Juhi Mawla
