In this first quarter, the following activities were carried out :

• Organization of 2 involvement and participation sessions with 20 local authorities and community leaders;
• Capacity building of 30 leaders of women's and feminist organizations on the approach to access to energy in the humanitarian context for women in war crises and disasters;
• Installation of a community nursery for community reforestation and around huts in the site degraded by the disaster as part of initiating women in the fight against climate change. The nursery will be used to produce 1,500 trees that will be distributed to 200 women;
• Organization of 1 community awareness campaign on the fight against sexual violence, the fight against community violence against women and girls affected by the crisis. This is with the aim of building peaceful cohabitation and social cohesion between the host community and the displaced in the context of access to energy for cooking.
• Organization of a survey related to access to energy to determine the level of vulnerability of households displaced by disasters and its impact on health, food security, GBV, etc. This survey will provide us with a database and a basis for argumentation for advocacy on behalf of women in crisis for their multi-sectoral well-being.
In the coming months, we plan to carry out the following activities :
- Continue the finalization of the survey on the energy problem and its impact on the well-being of women displaced in crisis situations,
- Distribution of improved stoves to women to counter the risks of sexual and community violence and their prevention of lung diseases,
- Organization of training for women on the manufacture of ecological charcoal and improved stoves, - Organizer of the distribution and planting of trees,
- Continuous training of humanitarian actors on improving access to energy for women displaced by disasters and war.
