Thank you SO MUCH for your donations so far to Mercy & Sharing's John Branchizio School in Port-au-Prince. I wanted to send you a brief report about the school and how your money has been spent so far.
First, enrollment at John Branchizio School has increased to 647 students in grades preschool through 10. These students study a core curriculum sanctioned by the Haitian Ministry of Education and receive a hot, nutritious meal every day!
Second, we have installed propane fueled stoves to cook the meals. These are rare in Haiti and much more clean and efficient than the traditional charcoal fired cooking methods prevalent in Haiti.
Third, we are making repairs to the well pump and chlorination system in order to continue to provide clean water for the students and staff.
YOU HAVE MADE a huge difference already!!! Next on our list are new desks, tables, and a computer room. YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT will make these improvements possible. Education is the key to Haiti's future and we are honored to partner with you in this important work!
Thanks again!
