We work hard!

It is indeed satisfying to see the results and growing awareness of our work being appreciated. I had previously shared an article on IIMPACT which featured in the Reader's Digest November 2012 issue.

IIMPACT was recently mentioned by New York Times in its article on out-of-school girls "How to Help Durga and Girls Like Her". This was published in the NY Times.com India Link on April 6, 2012. The link is given below :-

A Project Update:

IIMPACT is starting 30 Learning Centres in the state of Uttarakhand this month. Through these, for the very first time we will reach out to about 1,000 illiterate girls in this tough and inaccessible hilly terrain. Accordingly, as of this month, IIMPACT will now have 20,000 girls in our Learning Centres across 8 States of India.

All of us at IIMPACT take this opportunity to thank you once again for your extremely valuable support. You are helping us change the lives of 20,000 girls and of people around them in the most meaningful way, making a big difference to their future. You are truly making and 'impact'.
