ICAP Strengthens U.S. Global Leadership

To date, more than a dozen ICAP Fellows have been appointed to serve in high-level positions in the Biden-Harris Administration. The ICAP is a professional development and leadership program for highly promising minority mid-career professionals.  Among our notable appointees is Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, who will serve as the State Department’s first Chief Diversity Officer. Ambassador Abercrombie-Winstanley was the former ambassador to Malta, previously had an outstanding career in the State Department for more than three decades and has been a mentor and innovator in the diversity space.
