Yesterday was absolutely magical!
We drove our pickup truck down to help the neighborhoods within a few miles radius of the Bay County Government building, and honestly, we felt bad initially because we didn't have as much as we normally do when we deliver to families in need. However... EVERY house that we serviced (by giving them blankets or jackets) told us they loved us and were praying for us and it rejuvenated us like nothing else could! That's almost 25 families that keep us (yourselves included) in their thoughts and prayers... wow!
Sometimes as rescuers you need the encouragement and confirmation to keep fighting the "good fight", and yesterday was nothing but the greatest of encouragement for us!
We just wanted to share that in our own experience, so you can see that your donations are going to very appreciative people.
So from them to us, to yourselves: we love you all and God bless you!
We will continue coming down as often as we can! It will take years to rebuild this area of the U.S. and they have partners in us, and hopefully every community and corporation reading this, to make that happen smoother!
Happy Friday all!
