We are +90% in moving our resources to the Hurricane Michael hit areas in Florida, from our staging area in Wilmington.
By the end of next week, we plan on being completely centrifuged on Florida and South Georgia.
As it remains, several people are still unaccounted for, so we don’t know if they evacuated or were victims of the storm, though numbers have risen in the aftermath with counties reporting new numbers.
We also don’t know how far stretched recovery efforts will be needed being that we are only operating in two counties that do not include Georgia just yet. So our goal is to focus on Florida for two weeks and then head to Georgia the first week in November, before we take a week to recover and recalculate efforts.
Its been a good sign though that waters are somewhat receding in Florida’s panhandle.
