MAP has responded to the needs in Haiti by shipping 301 pallets of medicines and relief supplies that include Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) to help treat people suffering from cholera. A shipment was also sent containing supplies, antibiotics and one Interagency Emergency Health (IEHK) that can treat 10,000 people for up to 90 days. These supplies will be used to provide relief to families in the hardest hit areas. We continue to dispatch additional medicine and supplies to provide relief for the families suffering from the damage left by Hurricane Matthew. To date MAP has been able to provide over $48 million worth of medicines and supplies to families affected by Hurricane Matthew.
