Summary;

A charity of nurses has created vital care packages called, "Cases of LOVE." As pediatric nurses, we know Texas may soon be facing an unprecedented health crisis. Our most precious and vulnerable flood ravaged infants and children are at risk. Their little bodies are now primed for illness, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and Failure-to-Thrive issues. Our Cases Of Love care packages are cases stuffed with love, and the needed nourishing supplies to help them survive and thrive.

The On-Going Need:

Numerous families are still deeply impacted by the devastating floods from hurricane Harvey. Recently, an organization that shelters more than 500 women, infants and children has reached out to Angels In Waiting to seek more "infant cases of love," for their growing infant population. Numerous individuals and families are still displaced from Harvey’s destructive floodwaters and are still residing within homeless shelters and camping sites throughout Huston Texas.

Our goal is to provide the basic necessities for survival in our cases of love packages. We are happy to announce that we are sending additional infant-cases of love to one of the largest shelters for women and children in Huston, Texas. The shelter has promised that all of our “Infant-Cases of Love” will be delivered to victims who have been directly impacted by hurricane Harvey.

Gratitude:

We would like to directly express our heartfelt thanks to you and to our cherished donors! One donor in particular, donated over $3,000 towards our Cases of Love cause and we would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude for this gracious donation.

Furthermore, our comfort penguin Sammy appears to have been a great hit among the children, who have been deeply affected by this devastating hurricane.
