Rebuild in the harder hit areas of Wilmington is still underway. If estimated, we'd say it's about 50% of where you'd expect it to be considered "normal habitation" level.
Our team is now a skeleton crew in the east North Carolina area, as we focus now on moving the bulk of our team and resources to the Florida Panhandle and south Georgia regions which were devasted by Hurricane Michael two days ago.
We don't want to completely put our friends and family in the Atlantic Coast aside...they need us. But we do have to head where our bodies and efforts are more needed right now.
We need strength and energy and God will provide that. We need prayer and community support as well as we find our friends now in the Florida area.
Please keep supporting the causes for Hurricane Florence, they are well needed. Just know that Hurricane Michael is also in as great a need if not more.
Thank you all for sharing the causes and reminding everyone how we should all come together.
We love you all and we'll be home as soon as we can.
