Over the last week, my veteran team and I have been driving to different areas strongly hit and majorly damaged by Hurricane Florence. We’ve also been networking and gathering transport units and potential locations to collect donations.
a major concern now is mosquitos and standing water (where they breed and where contaminants are building up creating health hazards).
Our intent is to get funding to buy/ gather the following necessity/ non-necessity items in bulk amount to deliver to those who lost basically everything due to the hurricane, and then to churches and organizations in the immediate area to distribute as needs arrive to sustain residents until insurance or FEMA assistance arrives.
