Good Sunday evening.
We have had quite a busy 72 hours going from Charleston, SC all the way up to Dare County, NC (where Ocracoke Island is) and plenty of cities along the way, including Little River, SC where tornados toched down. We have done rescue, recovery and some smaller relief work.
In all, the cities were for the most part spared the storms full potential and we are grateful.
The majority of homes and structures that were damaged are salvageable and flooding appears to be a minor concern: though tree and roof damage are their main obstacles.
There is work to be done, however in 3-6 months most of the cities should be operating at full capacity minus Ocracoke Island, which is still under water. However, rescue operations have ceased, so we will stay for 72-96 more hours and do some work in North Myrtle Beach, Little River, (SC), Charleston and around Horry County.
In the meanwhile, we are already setting up our operations logistics for Grand Bahamas Island, where we have had contact and approval from government officials to do search and rescue, recovery and rellief.
