Displacement is difficult for any family, but for people living with disabilities, it can make even simple daily needs much harder to meet.
At Ihtaimlat Camp in northern Syria, all residents are persons with disabilities. Many face mobility challenges that limit their ability to access markets and essential services independently.
Our team recently provided fresh bread directly to residents in the camp, helping meet an immediate and recurring food need.
By bringing bread into the camp, we reduced the need for residents or caregivers to travel in search of basic supplies.
This form of assistance is simple, but its impact is real. It helps families maintain access to food while easing part of the burden caused by displacement and disability.
We thank every donor who contributed to this project. Your support helps ensure that vulnerable people receive the attention and assistance they deserve.
